It's the perfect season for a good murder mystery, given the arctic cold weather upon us. Who wouldn't want to sleuth around with a compelling whodunnit from the comfort of their cozy house? Whether it's the classic murder mystery featuring a detective in a trench coat or the stereotypical police force with its smart and not-so-smart men and women, along with their donuts, coffees (or perhaps tea with milk), there's a comforting element in discovering the truth, catching the guilty, and setting things in order.
We'll delve into the evolution of this thrilling genre, exploring its engaging storytelling, the big names throughout the years, and then review a diverse selection of books to choose from. Just don't forget your magnifying glass!

Format:
Part 1: presenter(s) provide a short overview of the pre-selected books, highlighting some of the reviews and critics and other relevant background. Members who have read any of the books can contribute.
Part 2: participants are invited to introduce any book that they would like to recommend and provide a short overview thereof (on a voluntarily basis).
Part 3: participants vote to select the book to be discussed in one of the upcoming book discussion meetings.
