Saturday stroll along the Foron - meet up 10h20

The weather forecast for Saturday is quite good, so let us go for a walk!
We will meet at 10h20 at Cornavin train station, platform 2, front of the train, and take the 10h32 train direction St. Gervais. We get off at Chene Bourg from where at 10h57 we take bus 32 to Jussy-Monniaz, getting off at the last stop, arrival 11h19. You can also join us on the way.
We will walk over country roads towards the Foron river, which is at this part the border between France and Switzerland. The route is pleasant and quiet. As we will walk mostly in France, you would need your passport or ID. We will end the walk at a bus stop in or near Puplinge.
We will have a little picnic on the way - take food and drinks along, plus some thing to sit upon.
Distance: about 11 km., with some little uphills and downhills - regular walking or jogging shoes are fine.
We will take it easy and walk for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Expect to be back in town by 16h00 the latest.
