Belle du Seigneur: A Novel by Albert Cohen (French, 1968): Belle du Seigneur has been called "the book of love" and tells the story of Solal's passionate, cruel yet realistic love affair with Ariane Deume - a married non-Jewish woman. In 1968, the novel won the French academy award. Since then, the novel has been one of the best-sellers in the prestigious Gallimard white collection.

– What are the major implications on our daily lives (if any)?

7. Group discussion led by the commentator (45-60 minutes), member’s personal view about the book, opposing ideas
