Picnic with Geneva’s best wines

Each year an expert jury selects about 20 wines that will represent the region in Switzerland and abroad. This year's selection (the 2010 vintage) will be announced on June 16th.
We want to give you the chance to taste them before they are sold out (which will happen fast). Therefore we will organize a picnic at Quai Wilson near the horse statue (from the center past Bains de Paquis and Hotel Wilson, opposite to Palais Wilson, see picture).
We will purchase the selected wines at the wine growers the weekend after the announcement, and share them with you. We will mix them with a few of the regional wines that *we* like, and let you decide if the right one won. We will focus on grape varieties; Chasselas, Gamay and Pinot Noir. We will also bring some simple (but tasty) food.
The cost for the picnic is 20 Francs. We will bring glasses and other things you need, you just take whatever you need to be comfortable on the grass: a blanket/towel, chair, pillow or nothing at all.
