Discover Switzerland’s Hidden Gem

Saturday, January 19th, 2013 @ 08:30
Les Diablerets, Vaud, Geneva
On January 19th in the small picturesque mountain village of Les Diablerets, they open the sledge piste ("luge" in French) for a run at night time. If you want to try to go sledding on what must be the longest sledge piste in Switzerland, and if you like cheese fondue and white wine then this activity is a must.
The program broadly looks like this:
Sat 19: Leave Cornavin/Lausanne in the morning, to go skiing or snowshoe hiking during the day.. Sat evening we do the luge and fondue.
Sunday: Rise at a convenient time, go skiing/snowshoeing until after lunch and then we head home. Depending on the amount of skiing people want to do we will be back Sunday evening no later than 21.
I have prebooked 5 double rooms in a reasonably priced hotel.
If you are interested then sign up and send me an email and I will provide you with the full details, including pre-payment which is necessary, because I have booked some hotel rooms and booked 10 seats at the fondue&luge activity. Deadline for signing up is 7th January.
