Visit to the Atlas experiment at CERN

This free event - open to all - will give attendees the opportunity to visit the Large Hadron Collider at CERN and to visit the ATLAS experiment.
ATLAS is one of four major experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. It is exploring the basic building blocks and fundamental forces of nature, and is one of the largest collaborative efforts ever attempted in particle physics. The experiment is using one of the largest and most complex scientific instruments ever constructed.
As well as participating in the tour, attendees will have the opportunity to network over light refreshments prior to the event.
