4th Meetup of the Geneva Freedom Challenges!
Sunday, July 2nd, 2017 @ 14:00
In front of the restaurant "La perle du lac" then, we'll find a spot on the grass ;), Geneva
Woooow it’s already the 4th meetup !! It’s crazy, I feel like I’ve known some of you from way before :D
We’re all really excited to meet the newcomers as well !
--> Our goal is to have even more fun in Geneva, to challenge each other through social freedom challenges, take more risks in life, stop fearing what people think of us, take life a bit less seriously and feel completely freeee, like anything is possible, and grow together as group of awesome individuals!
---- We tend to attract very kind and respectful human beings that are amazing listeners, very empathetic, patient, open-minded, and know how to keep a beautiful atmosphere and we would love to keep the energy of this group as it is, full of positivity and love!
Sooo here’s the program for this 4th official meetup :
1. NEW ICE-BREAKER : I ‘m excited to try this one, it will allow us to briefly connect with every participant one to one, should be fun !
2. FEAR and FREEDOM sharing time : A lot of the feeling of freedom comes from overcoming our fears. In the previous meetups we shared moments of intense freedom to inspire each other.
This time I’d love each of us to share something we resist doing out of fear AND what positive result you could have if you overcame that fear.
It’s probably something you know that if you did you would experience more freedom, be happier, you would be growing as a person or moving closer to what you want in life !
(it can be anything ! Signing up to a dance class, start public speaking, share your art, start dating again (terrifying if you ask me :p), organize an event, have honnest conversation with colleagues, loved ones, suggest an idea to your boss, ask a favor to a friend etc, etc. )
There is magic in sharing what we fear, especially with a lovely group like ours : by sharing it you remove the power of the fear – you might even realize that it’s not as scary as it sounds ! And by sharing the positive result that might happen, you'll feel more inspire to take actions and do this thing you resist ;)
--> So think about it : Something you resist doing out of fear AND the possible amaaaaazing positive results !
(if you don’t feel confortable you don’t have to participate, just say pass^^)
3. CHALLENGE TIME ! Talking to strangers, again hehe. We did it last time and experienced how easy and fun it was, once done !
The goal should only be to enjoy the conversation and learn something from a stranger.
Never underestimate the super-power of being able to talk to strangers : you never know what could come out of it and most people can't do it hehe :p. Yup, it puts you way ahead in life in a way tihi ;)
(again, no pressure to participate^^)
4. We regroup and share FEEDBACKS from the challenge !
5. Brief discussion about the TALENT SHOW.
Last time we all thought it could be really fun to organize a talent showww to overcome fears of what others think of us !
Here’s what I’m thinking : baby steps haha !
Before hitting the streets, how about we first organize a talent show for the group ? We each prepare something to show (a song, a dance, something we wrote, a speech, poetry, anyyyyything you want !) for the next meetup ! (so not for this one, but the following one!^^)
Let me know what you all think of this idea.
I suggest you already think about what you could do and we start writing down a list of each participant and their talent as a first step!
6. CRAZYYY DANCEEE and THE END ! (I have a crazy idea for the dance. Haaa I'll share it at the meet up hehe!)
7. CHILL TIME! Pic-nic, swimming in the lakeee, drinks, sharing deep conversations and laughs until the sun goes downnnn all that good stuff :D
-->Feel free to bring food to share, drinks, your swimming suit, towel, sun-screen !
I’m looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting the newcomers !!
Lots of love,
Laura
