This workshop ranges from actionable career advice to tools for structured thinking. Further, it will help you find your way into a network of people and organisations who are working to create a better tomorrow, known as the Effective Altruism (EA) movement.
We will cover:
- Philosophical and psychological perspectives on doing good
- Tools, concepts and methods to do more good
- Open opportunities for you to do the most good you can
The problem with systematically doing good is that our minds did not evolve to primarily improve the world and that defining “good” is difficult in itself. Together, we will work through and discuss a variety of issues related to trade-offs, crucial considerations and prioritisation in a complex world with limited resources.
Please, only sign-up if you can attend for the entire day (10 am - 6 pm).
