Lyon France is home to one the grandest annual spectacles of art and light in the world.
Designers from all over the world partake in the wonderful event. Video, Music and Sound effects are used to accompany the vibrant images dotted around the city.
The exceptional spectacle showcases the city at its best and incorporates buildings, rivers and parks into the show.
So here's the plan.
My plan is to be in Lyon around 3:30-4pm. I would like to have a traditional Lyonaisse dinner someplace. Then walk it all off as soon as it it gets dark. The light show begins at 6pm. After enjoying the lightshow for a couple of hours we'll head back to Lausanne. Return ETA is 11pm for my car. But we should be back by midnight at the latest.
I have room for 3 people in my car. But if you take the train or ride with someone else then we'll rendezvous at the Place Bellecour.

If you can drive please leave a note in the comment area below so that riders can contact you directly. For anyone who would like to ride with me, just drop me a message and we'll work it out.
It's roughly 425kms round trip. The tolls for the French autoroute are just under 32 Euro round trip. For those taking the train from Lausanne to Lyon station Part Dieu. Please catch the metro to Place Bellecour and meet up with your fellow glocalers.
