The idea of the French/English Language Exchange is for French and English speakers to help each other in learning the language of the other.
This activity is related to a group. It is good to join in as we communicate some information sometimes. Thank you for considering our principles, even if we are cool, it is good to have some principles, isn't it ? ;-)

EXCEPT DURING CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS, we meet up each Saturday afternoon between 16h20 and 16h30 at the café des Savoises, rue des Savoises, 11 :

STRUCTURED means you are willing to share a specific time on focusing on some skills, exercises (but just for a short moment for it is good to alternate with friendly moments, relax conversations). "Be as happy as possible it is to be " would have said Richard Bach in his book "Illussion"
INFORMAL means you are willing to adapt to whatever it comes.

Hi attendees, now feel free to join any people and groups you would like to work with :-)
A suggestion of how to process :
Sharing is a give and take situation. Please, try to find best practices of making the best for everyone. Cooperation is a creative process, and rewarding feedbacks are not always immediate :-)
Usually, during our sharing, we alternate French and English every 20/30 mn.

Mind these tips :
1) Let's have at least one English and on French in each group
2) Small groups work better
3) We always find the best way to correct each other... otherwise we will worsen our bad habits.
4) Be fair in sharing your time of speaking and listening, and of practicing French and English.
5) Tell your partner what you need, ask him/her to help you, and give back the change.
6) Suggest some ways/exercises/practices that can provide some help for your partners.
7) Alternate a demanding practice with a cool/fun conversation
Least but not last, keep mobile, initiate new small groups, try another group... work in groups of only 3 persons when you want to focus on pronunciation.

If you come late
Do try to come on time and if ever you come late, try to initiate a new group : just present yourself to any big group of your choice, announce what is your native language and ask if anyone is willing to start a new small group (even a pair).
- Or join a current group of two people.
Regarding your levels you can check it here :

Perhaps better, for the anglophones, is the site of DELF/DALF:
http://www.delfdalf.ch/index.php?id=320
As the room is provided free of charge, please take full advantage of the bar, drinks are inexpensive and the management is involved in a fair trade market.
Please sign up when and if you are planning to attend.
Bodily, intellectually and emotionally speaking, we are Rolling Stones :-) let's move on.
