French course value for money?

Has anyone attended the Swiss French school? I went this morning to meet them, the program sounds good and I have lots of time to spare so I am keen to do intense study. I just wondered whether it is good value for money? I like the  flexibility of the classes and the combination of online and face to face options, but want to make sure if I am going to pay that much that it really is the best course to choose? How does the price compare to other courses and private tutors? They have quoted me minimum $2,400 francs.

I would appreciate some advice!

You should be able to get a private tutor for 50.- per hour. In general the schools hire very similar people to those you can find in the small ad's, and then take most of the money, there is very little added value.

If you can, find a private tutor near you who is recommended.

Thank you! I will also explore this option before deciding.
