Hello everyone, I am moving next June (local move) and I have almost identical estimates from two moving companies, Safe Moving and Balestrafic. I have to select one of them, would any of you have recommendation / input to share ? Thanks a lot!

Alex,
Try a search in the forums. Just select the forums tab, select all forums, then type "Moving Company" in the search window. There's lots of sound advise to help you.

I can recommend you Keepmoving services.
They have a lot of positive reviews on Glocals and I have personaly tried their services 1 month ago when I had to find a mover in a really short time at a really lower price than what was proposed by major companies.

Ueli is a great guy, they were right on time the D-day, took good care of the fragile items and furnitures and did the job on schedule as expected.
For an estimate, you may even have an online offer by sending pictures on their website.
It reminds me that I didn't had my review on Glocals, it will make them another 5 stars review among all the ones they already have.

My recommendation is California Movers Local & Long Distance Moving Company.
I used their service when I moved to Sacramento from San Diego. I had pretty bad moving experience before and didn’t expect much that is why I’d done almost all packing job before movers arrived. But I was pretty much surprised to see that these guys were responsible about their job. They checked my packaging and helped me to box and tape the rest. They also load everything in the truck and assisted me in loading minor boxes into the car.
The guys knew their business and did everything pretty fast. They also charged as much as they had said before without any extras. Their website is http://californiamoversusa.com/. I think they are really professional movers from San Diego and so far the best movers I’ve used.
