This is a fantastic idea. Weekend of the 4th it is! I find it quite re-assuring to know there are so many people all trying to settle in at once. I look forward to meeting you all.

In the mean time, I was thinking of going to Ludo's drinks next Friday night  (In the Groups.) It's happening in Lausanne (not Geneva) but it's easy enough to get to on the train. If anyone is up for it, I may see you there as well.

I can recommend some nice bars in the Plainpalais student region. There's the calamar for burgers it's quite nice.

I just arrived in Geneva last week and will be living here with my husband for 3 years. Tomorrow I am actually unusually busy, but Tuesday or Wednesday works well for me. Shall we say Tuesday, around 3 pm? I'm flexible as to venue. I haven't been to that many coffee shops, but Boreal on Rue du Stand is nice and so is Riverside Café on Rue du Rhone.

I go to AOM Yoga, info about which I found here on Glocals. It suits me, but I'm not much more than a beginner.

Alejandra and I were at Mr. Pickwick's last week. We saw an announcement for karaoke night this Thursday and thought that could be fun. The place is big enough for many more of us, especially downstairs, so don't be scared if you do not like to sing (poorly) in public. :) I e-mailed Gozde about this a few days ago but have yet to hear from her... Who wants to make an executive decision in case we do not get any updates before tomorrow? I suppose some people will need to know before tomorrow night...

I’ve been there before and I know it is big enough. There is a huge room downstairs and I think there is Kareokee on Thursday haha.
