This will be our second meeting of a new discussion group which is run along the lines of the Café Philo, which was held in Lausanne over several years.

Discussions in the past covered such things as "What is the value of work?", "Why marry?" , "What is `a good life`?" ,"How can we justify keeping animals as pets?" All opinions are listened to and participants are encouraged to come with an open mind - and be prepared to discover that they might find themselves changing long-held opinions ( as I have in some meetings).

Venue will be at the home of a generous participant in St Prex .
The last meeting was held at my place and was very interesting and enjoyable.
If anyone would like to host future meetings at their home they would be very welcome to do so.Otherwise we will try to find a public venue.
