This group is for people who like to discuss, share ideas, debate .....and LISTEN to other people.It's for people who want to be intellectually stimulated and challenged and who are open to changing their opinions when they encounter new ways of seeing things.
We would base our meetings on the basic principles of the French Café Philo,which means people take turns to speak, no one is ever told they are "wrong" and all opinions are respected.
Discussion topics will be chosen by the participants.
Further details will depend on the amount of interest from participants.
We will meet regularly in a public venue either in Lausanne or Vevey (the usual set up is that a bar might let us use an area for free if we agree to each buy a drink at least :-)   - Less
