Hello German speakers
After our very nice event location's owners (Simplon restaurant) intended to cash CHF 300 for reserving the couch area per event a change happened. Not only that I had to look for a new location.
Many exciting things are going on in my life at the moment and I'd like to concentrate on these subjects.
Often I got asked: "Why do you do this"
This question comes from the lack of understanding to do something for others (meanwhile more than 70 times) just for fun and socializing. Not to earn money, not to catch girls (as some assumed) and not to get other benefits.
Some people came regularly and for the event-loyal people I am sorry at the moment. This notice of Simplon was like a sign to think about continuing.
I decided to pause. Another point is, that I maybe will move from the Zurich area to another place in Switzerland. Things are open and we will see what changes life will bring.
Means, the planned event for next week is canceled, for the time being no other events are planned. Of course I will stay a glocals member helping you guys if I can, as I often did outside the German Conversation.
